Coach training is a key priority to assure our program is of the highest quality for the students and families we serve.
We we want every student to "get the best of both worlds" in golf skill and life skills.
Our coaches include PGA and LPGA professionals, lay people with full time jobs outside of golf that want to give back to their community, educators and college golfers on summer break, First Tee parents, First Tee student graduates, and retirees.
Every coach is personally interviewed,screened and undergoes a complete background check. Coaches then select one of four "training paths":
Our chapter actively seeks to train additional volunteer coaches to expand our impact in the community and serve more students.
