The First Tee of North Puget Sound 

 
You will remember us previously as The First Tee of Snohomish County.  In April 2010, the Home Office of The First Tee approved our plans to offer The First Tee Life Skills Curriculum to the entire Northwest area of Washington State. We are the same great organization; now we serve many more youth through empowering local leaders, coaches, and volunteers.

The rebranding and expansion of our program service area takes us from Snohomish County,west and north to the Canadian Border; including Whatcom, Skagit, Island San Juan, and Clallam Counties!  

We have in place Program Affiliate Agreements currently at 7 Cedars at Dungeness and Lake Padden, with more sites to come on-board in 2011.   Area Directors, Site Managers, Coaches, and Volunteers are being recruited and trained and more youth are being given the benefit of the unique First Tee Life Skills Curriculum through the great game of golf.

The First Tee of North Puget Sound (TFTNPS) is the d.b.a of Grass Roots Jr. Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation operating under a "Chapter Agreement" with The First Tee national network.  TFTNPS is the only youth development charity in the North Sound region delivering The First Tee Life Skills curriculum.    TFTNPS also has the broadest reach in geographic scope by delivering program at 8 sites throughout the region.  No student is denied services based on financial ability.  Serving more students with quality, affordable access to golf and golf's life long values is dependent upon charitable support by individuals, businesses, and grantors.
